Donovan addressed a meeting at Vancouver's Campoverde social Club. He shared his Paralympic story, as well as discussed how involvement in sports has served him well in the business world.

Donovan inspired a group of over thirty youth participants of Vancouver's Heroes Hockey Camp. His presentation included a question period, as well as autograph signing.

Donovan addressed a large crowd at Canada Place to mark the swearing-in ceremony of new Canadians. He explained how his experience as a Paralympic athlete instilled in him a sense of national pride and a sense of Canadian identity.

Donovan addressed a packed house at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. He spoke of his experiences skiing with the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program (WASP), and encouraged those in attendants to continue providing their support.

Volleyball Western Championships, Abbotsford, BC
Donovan gave a five minute presentation to over 1500 youth, age 12 - 14 at the opening of Western Champs. He encouraged all to “enjoy the journey” and despite all else, have fun during the competition.

Donovan addressed a crowd of over 500 athletes at the opening banquet for Boccia Nationals. He told of his Paralympic experiences, and encouraged all to reach for their dreams.

Donovan spoke to a group of over 100 Telus employees about his experiences as a Paralympic athlete. He also discussed the importance of goal-setting; as well as, always following one’s dreams and passions.

At the twenty-fifth annual Great Valentine Gala, held at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Donovan received a King Clancy Award for his medal-winning performance at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.

Donovan addressed a lunchtime meeting of the Vancouver Kiwanis Club. He spoke about his new role with Buntain Insurance Agencies, as well as his experience on the world stage as a Paralympic Athlete.

Donovan Tildesley, along with fellow Paralympic swimmer Amber Thomas, spoke to a series of schools in the town of Drayton Valley about their experiences as blind Paralympians. Donovan explained how he overcame obstacles to mount the podium and the importance of adopting a positive attitude.
